As a mama of three, I totally get it: parenting is a rollercoaster.

There’s no other area of our life where people feel so entitled to offer unsolicited advice; the Internet is rife with misinformation; and the care that we’re offered through the NHS is often inadequate to have the positive, empowered births we desire and to set us up to be confident and thrive in parenting.

 

But with the right support you can stop second guessing yourself and feel fully confident to navigate the ups and downs that come with parenting while enjoying the beautiful moments that come with it.

Hi! I’m Candy Elsbeth!

I’m a Registered Nurse, Antenatal & Hypnobirthing Educator, Tongue Tie Specialist, yoga teacher, and yep, I even have a few more credentials, too. But we'll leave it there for now. In essence, I support parents and pregnant people to navigate their pregnancy and postpartum journeys so that they can make the decisions that are right for them and their unique families. Given my combination of professional expertise and lived experience, I can offer you the accurate, evidenced-based, information you need alongside the warm, encouraging support to know that you’re never alone in this journey.

For me and many of my clients, pregnancy and early parenting can feel like setting off on a journey with a map that only shows half the path. Frustrating, right? I started my business in order to change that.

My mission is simple: to walk alongside you, offering holistic and honest support from pregnancy through postpartum. Think of me as your trusty guide, helping you navigate the twists and turns with confidence and ease. My vision? It’s all about empowerment. I believe every parent deserves to feel informed and prepared for the wild ride that is birthing and early parenting.

At the heart of my work are the values of empathy, transparency, and empowerment. Picture a world where every parent feels ready to embrace each challenge with open arms, where they can make decisions rooted in knowledge rather than fear. That’s the environment that I create for my clients.

My Background

With a background as a Registered Nurse, Antenatal & Hypnobirthing Educator, Yoga Instructor, Tongue Tie & Oral Dysfunction Specialist, and Infant Feeding Support Worker, as well as a solo parent to three young children, I’ve got a well-rounded toolkit to support you through it all. Whether it’s preparing for birth or tackling feeding challenges, I’m here to ensure you thrive through pregnancy and beyond.

Have you ever felt the call to support others in a way that truly transforms their lives? That’s how my journey began. As a registered nurse, I understand the importance of the moments of birth and the challenges that often accompany them. I realised when I birthed my first child, that I was at a huge advantage to most parents who don’t have a background as a health professional. After all, knowledge is power. I realised that my passion lay in guiding expectant parents through these pivotal times, ensuring they felt as prepared and empowered as possible.

With each step I took into this new world, I added tools to my toolkit. Becoming an antenatal and hypnobirthing educator allowed me to provide parents with more than just information: I could offer them confidence. And through yoga instruction, I found ways to help them connect mind, body, and spirit. Swirling all these skills together with my unique brand of kindness and humour, I offer my clients a unique, joyful, holistic approach.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me embracing nature or diving into cold sea swimming—a refreshing reminder that sometimes life’s greatest joys are found outside our comfort zones. These personal experiences keep me grounded and remind me why I chose this path: to be there for parents not just as a professional but as someone who understands the ebb and flow of life’s journey.

I support pregnant people and parents in many areas, including:

  • Teaching pregnant people (and their partners, if they have one) how they can use hypnobirthing techniques to support them in having a positive, empowered birth experience
  • Practising yoga during pregnancy and postpartum in order to connect with your body, cultivate calmness, and develop the strength that will support you through birth and postpartum.
  • Working with parents 1:1 so that they can develop the self-care habits they need (and that actually fit into their busy lives) so that they can properly take care of themselves and parent from the calm, grounded place that they want to.
  • Offer holistic tongue tie and oral dysfunction treatments for infants who need them so that they can have the best possible start in life.

 

I know that we are so lucky to have free healthcare in the UK but the one-sized-fits-all approach offered by the NHS is letting many families down. That’s why I’m so passionate about providing empathetic, bespoke, holistic care to my clients. Every family is unique and you deserve to have the birth and parenting experiences that are right for you.

Fun Facts

  • I love cold sea swimming; all winter you can find me diving into the ocean in a bikini, hat, and gloves.
  • I’m a diehard fan of both Criminal Minds and CSI.
  • We have two adorable bunnies (Marshmallow and Cinnamon); they're very cute and also quite a handful!
  • I’m very yin and yang. I love sitting to do a puzzle, yet love a good party/wedding, too!
